The Germantown Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. (GVFD) is very proud to announce the arrival of Santa Claus to many Germantown neighborhoods this weekend. The GVFD Santa Run is starting Saturday, December 19th at 10 AM and will go until about 8 PM. Santa will also be out Sunday, December 20th starting at 11:30 AM and going until about 8 PM. Saturday's run will include, but is not limited to the following major shopping centers, streets and surrounding housing areas: Milestone, Shakespeare, Daly ES District, Waring Station, Waters Landing, Churchill Village, Father Hurley, Wisteria, Long Channel, and Germantown Commons. Sunday's run will include Scenery, Boyds, Soccerplex, Great Seneca, Dawson Farm, Clopper and Richter Farm.
GVFD is also proud to be carrying Santa on their brand new fire engine that has been decked out with Christmas lights. You won't miss him - because you will probably hear him before you see him. Santa will be accompanied by several fire and rescue vehicles.
